It can be hard to find new things to do with your babies and kids. And it’s also nice to be able to meet some new potential friends who are in the same phase of life! Here are my top 5 picks of things you can do with your babies and kids in the Sherbrooke, Lennoxville, Magog, and Estrie.

My Top 5 Picks

1. Le Rigolo centre d’amusement et de développement

This kids play centre has a dedicated area for babies that are 2 years old and under that has lots of fun areas for the littles to discover! The rest of the centre is for kids who are over 2 years old and has many areas for them to play and run. There is also a small rock climbing wall. There are tables and chairs for parents to hang out while their kids play. They sell snacks and beverages. Washrooms are easily accessible. Check HERE for their website for hours and pricing.

2. Parc Jacques-Cartier

This park in Sherbrooke is really amazing! It’s has a huge newly built playground that has a side for younger kids and a side for older kids. There are also lots of swings!

It also offers an amazing view of the water and has lots of trees and open spaces for picnics and playing. The park also hosts special events (like a winter wonderland in December).

It has washrooms and water fountains, so this makes it ideal for a longer outing.

3. Parc De La Baie-De-Magog

This park in Magog has a bit of everything! It has 2 beaches, a boardwalk, a restaurant that you can walk up to from the boardwalk to eat outside or take-away, and has a huge park!

This park also has an amazing view of the water, is right next to downtown Magog, and has plenty of places to grab lunch or bring a picnic.

It usually has porto-potties, so this makes it ideal for a longer outing too.

There is also a bike/walking trail. There is a large parking lot close to one of the beaches.

4. Lennoxville District Womens Centre Playgroup

The Lennoxvile District Womens Centre offers a FREE play group for English speakers in the Estrie region.

There are meeting every Tuesday and Thursday, and all babies and kids under 5 are welcome.

There are special themes and often there is: Crafts, storytime, freeplay, walks, snacks, etc.

During the winter and inclement weather the group usually meets at the community centre, during the summer the group usually meets in Queen Square or nearby parks.

It is a good idea to join the facebook group to find out what is happening and where: LDWC Playgroup FB Page

5. Granby Zoo

The Granby Zoo is open year round and has special events too.

The Zoo is easily a day trip as there is plenty to do! There are animals to see and interact with, play areas for kids, picnic tables, and more!

You can bring your own food or purchase it there. This day trip is sure to me a day to remember!

Day tickets or season passes available. There is also a waterpark and amusement park.
